Kuwaiti jet ski team attackers held
March 25th, 2012 - 10:31 pm ICT by IANSDubai, March 25 (IANS/WAM) Seven Emirati men have been arrested following an assault on members of the Kuwaiti jet ski team participating in the fourth round of the UAE Jet Ski Championship at Umm Suqeim Beach.
Police Friday arrested four of the attackers, and three more were arrested Saturday.
According to deputy commander-in-chief of Dubai police, General Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina, they will be put on the police lineup for further confirmation.
He said immediate action was taken upon the orders from Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to launch speedy investigations into the incident and to arrest the suspects.
The Kuwaiti jet ski team is in Dubai for the UAE Jet-Ski Championship.
