Wellington, October 27 (ANI): After the New Zealand Teachers Council decided to investigate Rachel Whitwell, a primary school teacher whose nude pics surfaced on the Australian Penthouse website, her boyfriend has said that she has been shocked by the move.

Pornographer Steve Crow revealed that her girlfriend was saddened by the turn of events.

“She’s really surprised it’s caused so much grief. The photos are pretty innocuous. She’s shocked and gutted,” Stuff.co.nz quoted him as saying.

Whitwell had earlier told Sunday News that her antics did not mean she was a bad teacher.

She had said: “People will vouch I’m a really good teacher. My ability to teach and have good relationships with students is not affected.

“I didn’t think that anyone from New Zealand would see them.”
