Kiefer Sutherland undergoes surgery
February 15th, 2010 - 4:45 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Feb 15 (IANS) Hollywood actor Kiefer Sutherland has undergone a minor surgery following a ruptured cyst.
Sutherland’s surgery has disrupted the shooting for upcoming season of “24″. The bosses insist they were keen to stop filming for Sutherland to have the surgery, rather than making the star wait the six weeks he is required for the rest of the shoot.
“We are temporarily suspending production of ‘24′ while our friend and colleague Kiefer Sutherland undergoes a medical procedure,” a spokesperson told E! Online.
“We hope to resume production shortly and do not anticipate any disruption in the broadcast of this season’s episodes,” the spokesperson added.
