California, Mar 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) In a situation that would have made adults nervous and at a loss for wit, two kids in California acted wisely and were cautious enough to handle their mother and her newborn. Jabari Sanders and Faith Sanders are 11 and 9 years old respectively but their timely act saved the life of their baby sibling. Their mother unexpectedly developed labor pain and she had to give birth to the child in the bathroom. The kids did not get nervous and called up their father. They also dialed 911 for assistance. Not only that, they also helped in tying the umbilical cord of the newborn. The incident took place on March 9.

Alana Sanders, the woman who gave birth to the baby in bathroom could not realize that she had a labor pain at first. She mistook it to be a bowel movement. When she realized that she was about to give birth to the baby she asked her son to dial 911 and he did that. Faith Sanders called up her father and asked him to come back home from work. The baby weighed 9 pounds and 4 ounces when he was born. The children were taken aback by the development but they remained calm and did what they were told by their mother and the medical staff.

Geoffrey Sanders, the father of the kids said that he was proud of his son and daughter. He never expected that they would be able to handle such a tricky situation in a matured way, given their young age. The baby is doing fine, as it has been reported.
