idogFeb 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Kentucky witnessed yet another brutal example of cruelty against animals. On Thursday, three skinned dogs were found along the roads of Kentucky, in the Greenup County, located in the eastern part of the state. All those who witnessed it found the sight extremely sickening, as these skinned dogs were hung on the roads along with their carcasses.

It was first noticed by George Coleman, a retired police officer of Kentucky, along with his daughter. The daughter freaked out at the sight and pointed the scene to her father. According to George Coleman, one of the three dogs was definitely a Golden retriever or any other species of a bigger sized dog, as it was not as small as a coyote. He said that it could be one of the retrievers, who had been seen in the locality in the last few days. He immediately called up the police to inform them about the matter. According to sources, it was a deliberate attempt on the part of a hunter. Reportedly, on Wednesday, Greenup County Game Warden, Rob Howard, paid a visit to the locality and warned against the fast trend of animal hunting in that area.

Sources say, that the incident took place right on the next day, perhaps because one of these desperate hunters was trying to challenge the game warden, to reinstate their rigid intention of carrying on with their atrocities against animals. He perhaps wanted to symbolize that he would continue to do whatever he feels like, defying the rules set by the authorities. The police are not suspecting any particular person right now, and have urged the people to inform the Greenup County Sheriff’s Department, if they get a clue. The warden has said that the person found guilty will be punished on the grounds of animal cruelty charges.
