Kenny Edwards Of ‘The Stone Poneys’ Passes Away At The Age Of 64

Washington, August 20, 2010 (Just Flashed): The Stone Poneys happened to be a folk-rock trio that was created in Los Angeles in the 1960s. It was represented by Bob Kimmel, Kenny Edwards and Linda Ronstadt. Bob Kimmel was associated with rhythm guitar and vocals. Kenny Edwards was responsible for the lead guitar and the singing part. Linda Ronstadt was also connected to the vocals. Their renowned recordings consisted of Linda Ronstadt’s initial chartbuster song, which was a cover of Mike Nesmith’s “Different Drum’.

This band split up in 1968 subsequent to which Edwards constructed the folk-rock band, Bryndle. Edwards was accompanied in this endeavor by the vocalist and songwriter named Wendy Waldman, Bonoff and Andrew Gold. Edwards also happened to be a supporting guitarist and songster for Stevie Nicks, Don Henley, Brian Wilson, Vince Gill, etc.

The news given below will be a source of lugubriousness for the admirers of the 64-year-old Kenny Edwards. His website has asserted in a declaration that he had passed away on Wednesday.

The Los Angeles Times has voiced that Kenny Edwards underwent hospitalization earlier this month in Denver. The rationale behind his hospitalization was that he had disintegrated while doing a tour with Bonoff. Edwards was subsequently airlifted to an infirmary in close proximity to his residence in Santa Barbara where he breathed his last breath.
