London, Jan 31 (IANS) Model Katie Price may soon open a boutique hotel to make more money and the interior is likely to be like a “Playboy mansion”.
The mirror.co.uk reports that the 31-year-old spent last week in meetings to discuss her future projects and has decided that piling her savings into a boutique hotel could well be the way forward to make more money.

“Now that the recession is supposedly over she has been advised that property is becoming a more stable investment. After splitting from Peter Andre, she felt the pinch after losing a few of her deals. And along with losing out on her monthly six-figure glossy magazine deals, her accountant called her in to have a chat about her finances,” said a friend of Katie.

“Katie is always in and out of London staying at the Mayfair hotel. But she said if she had her own then it could be more like a home from home. Katie knows her limitations, she doesn’t want anything massive. She just wants a small boutique hotel that she can feel comfortable in and have some privacy,” the friend added.

Jordan, as she is fondly called, also has already planned for the decor of the hotel.

“You can just imagine what the rooms will look like. It will be top-to-toe in pink with fluffy carpets and pink flowery drapes. It will be like the Playboy mansion on crack. You could have breakfast in the Botox Lounge, or supper in the Spraytan Room. And you’d better bring a pink tutu for karaoke in the bar,” said the friend.

“For the amount of fans Katie still has, this could be a surprise money-spinner if guests can handle staying there among the dramas,” the friend added.
