Prince William London, Mar 30 (ANI): A biography of Prince Williams’ famous girlfriend Kate Middleton has revealed that her great-great-great grandfather was a prisoner in UK’s Holloway Prison.

The book titled ‘Kate Middleton: Princess in Waiting’, by Claudia Joseph, traces Middleton’s family from working class origins to its current position.

An entry in the 1881 census has revealed that Edward Thomas Glassborow, an ancestor of Middleton’s father Michael, was an inmate at Holloway Prison in London.Michael was listed as one of 436 occupants at the institution, which has now become a women’s prison, reports the Telegraph.Although there aren’t any records to explain what crime Glassborow had committed, papers clearly show that he went on to turn his life around.

Middleton met Prince William while they were studying at St Andrew’s University. (ANI)
