Kate Middleton prepares for ‘charitable princess’ role

London, May 2 (ANI): Prince William’s girlfriend Kate Middleton is set to play a more public role - come autumn and she will be available to attend events organised by charities.
“Kate’s name is already down for certain events…She will take a higher profile before the engagement is announced,” the Telegraph quoted a royal courtier, as saying.
Until now Middleton, 28, has largely confined herself to helping out at Party Pieces, the company owned by her parents, Michael and Carole, that sells party paraphernalia for children.
While she has been involved with the Starlight Children’s Foundation, a charity which aims to brighten the lives of seriously ill children, the year ahead is sure to make her appearances at public events more frequent. (ANI)
