New York, Dec 30 (ANI): A poll has revealed that Sarah Palin has really taken a beating to her popularity this year - and that too in her home state.
A new poll by Public Policy Polling has revealed that only 33 percent of Alaskans have a positive opinion of the former half-term GOP governor, while 58 percent don’t.
However, last year 47 percent of Alaskans viewed Palin favourably, compared with 45 percent unfavourably, reports the New York Daily News.
She is most popular in Montana, where 44 percent view her favourably, while 50 percent view her unfavourably.
The PPP surveyed 10 states this year and found that only Massachussetts gave her a higher unfavourability rating than Alaska, with 68 percent.
According to the poll, 60 percent of Republicans in Alaska support Palin. But PPP says GOP support for Palin in most other states usually hovers around 80 percent.
Other states that were polled include: Montana, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, Florida, Minnesota, Michigan and Wisconsin. (ANI)
