Julie Powers Schenecker Admitted To Hospital After Arrest

Jan 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Julia Powers Schenecker who was arrested on Friday morning on the alleged charges of killing her own children at present is undergoing treatment at the hospital. The 50 year old mother who killed her 13 year old son Beau Powers Schenecker and 16 year old daughter Calyx Powers Schenecker told the police that she killed her children because they were too mouthy. Police had arrested the Tampa resident from her Hillsborough County home on Friday morning after she was found at the back porch of her home steeped fully in blood.
According to sources, Laura McElroy, a Tampa police spokesperson said that Julia Powers Schenecker has confessed about her act and why she did it to her children. The police spokesperson also added that Julia Powers Schenecker’s explanation will never appear to be enough for them for no one takes away the life of his or her own children just for being mouthy or disrespectful. Police have arrested her charging her with two counts of first degree murder. Authorities reported that they did not take Julie Powers Schenecker to the court on Saturday, instead have taken her to the Tampa General Hospital because she is being treated over there for some medical condition that has not been revealed.
Police were first alarmed by Julia Powers Schenecker’s mother who stays in Texas, who was worried about what was going on in the family. She called the police saying that she was unable to reach her daughter and grandchildren and feared that some mishap had taken place in the family. Police on reaching the house found the son dead inside the car that was parked in the garage, while the daughter was found dead upstairs in her room lying in a pool of blood.
