5_missing_boysff_300Jan 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Investigators have been able to find a car from the Delta-Mendota Canal, which they believe was run inside the canal in northern California and contained the two individuals for whom the police have been searching endlessly since January 19. However, traces of neither Juliani Cardenas nor Jose Esteban Rodriguez have been found inside the 2003 silver colored Toyota Corrolo that was found yesterday evening shortly before 6 p.m.

According to sources, Stanislaus County Sheriff Adam Christianson has said that even before this latest discovery they had hopes that both the 4 year old Juliani Cardenas and his abductor Jose Esteban Rodriguez were alive. However, after the car that they believe belonged to Jose Esteban Rodriguez was found, the sheriff did not hesitate to say that chances of the survival of the two missing have faded away. Police have been hunting for the car and the two individuals since January 19, a day after little Juliani Cardenas was allegedly snatched away by the abductor from his grandmother’s arms. The search inside the Delta-Mendota Canal began after an eye-witness informed the investigators that the car went inside the canal water with two people inside it.

It has been almost a week since divers started to search the canal and before the final three cars were pulled out thirteen others were also recovered. Adam Christianson told that he is fearing for the worst but said that they will continue the search until the bodies that have probably floated down are recovered. Reportedly, Jose Esteban Rodriguez is the former boyfriend of Juliani Cardenas’ mother and is also the father of her unborn child from whom she split several months ago.
