Jilted lover kills woman’s family in Turkey
August 29th, 2010 - 6:49 am ICT by IANSIstanbul, Aug 29 (IANS) A 56-year-old Turkish man shot dead a woman for rejecting his advances and three of her family members in Istanbul, a media report said.
Mustafa Senkaloglu allegedly killed Meryem Oktay, who had rejected his advances several times, as well as her daughter, son-in-law and grandchild Saturday, Xinhua reported citing local NTV channel.
Senkaloglu met Oktay’s son-in-law Ramazan Kasa and was involved in an altercation with him. He whipped out a gun and shot Ramazan and his four-year-old child Furkan Kasa. He then proceeded to Oktay’s house, where he murdered Oktay and her daughter Leyla Kasa.
Senkaloglu fled the scene after the killing and is absconding.
