Jihad Jane’s friend charged with terror offences
April 3rd, 2010 - 6:28 pm ICT by ANIWashington, Apr.3 (ANI): An apparent friend of the US woman known as ‘Jihad Jane’ has been charged with terror offences after she flew to the US from Ireland and surrendered to authorities.Jamie Paulin-Ramirez, 31, from Colorado, is accused of conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists and attend a terror training camp, Sky News quoted the US Justice Department, as saying.
Dubbed by some as “Jihad Jamie”, Paulin-Ramirez was reportedly arrested in Ireland last month for allegedly plotting to kill a Swedish cartoonist who had drawn the Prophet Mohammed as a dog.
She was also accused of planning to claim a 100, 000 dollar al Qaeda bounty for the job, but was later freed without charge.
According to reports, Paulin-Ramirez is pregnant. (ANI)
