New York, Feb 3 (IANS) Jennifer Aniston’s dog Norman doesn’t seem to be too fond of her boyfriend John Mayer and has to be kept away whenever he visits her. “It’s funny because John likes dogs, but for some reason Norman has taken a dislike to him. Jennifer dotes on Norman. She treats him like a child, but she’s got to the point where she’s had to keep him out of the way if John is around,” a source said.

Aniston adores her dog so much that she spends an astonishing $250 a week on massage, Reiki and acupuncture treatments for the ageing canine.

“There’s no dog like him. He’s just a person in a furry outfit. I don’t even know how to describe him. He’s a wise old man who could, with a look, with one stare, could crush me. He’s a laser light beaming into my soul,” said Aniston.

But the star informed she had a bad experience with her pet as a child.

“My first pet was Demetri, a white poodle. But he did not like me much because I would always pull on its tail. But I was three, I thought he was a toy,” said the actress.

Aniston features with a Golden Retriever in the film “Marley & Me”. The film also stars Owen Wilson.
