Nov 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Colorado inventor Jeff Buske claims to have created a new style of underwear which will block the TSA airport scanners by placing a powdered metal fig leaf design, or clasped hands design over the very private areas of the human anatomy, making it possible to go through airport security scanners with your dignity intact.

The underwear inserts are said to be very thin and conform to the body’s shape, making it easy to tell if anything is hidden in those areas. The invention is made with a powdered metal which blocks the scanners, but does not alert metal detectors. Both male and female underwear as well as sports bras are available.

He is not looking to make a fortune off of his invention, but says, “The object is not to make money but to protect the public, educate people and ultimately see these X-Ray machines put in the dumpster,” according to CBS4 in Denver.

It is not known whether passengers wearing the underwear would be more likely to be forced to undergo a more extensive search.
