New York, April 6 (IANS) India’s Jeev Milkha Singh shot an even par 72 and was placed tied 52nd on the third round of the Shell Houston Open golf tournament at the Red Stone Golf Club, Texas. According to information reaching here, Jeev’s total stands at one under 215 as he had shot 73 and 70 after the second round here Saturday. The leader after two rounds is American Johnson Wagner (63, 69, 69) at 15 under 201.
Jeev’s even par 72 Saturday was highlighted by three birdies, a bogey and a double bogey. The Indian ace did not start well as he dropped three strokes after making a bogey on the second and a double bogey on the sixth.
However, he fought back with consecutive birdies on the seventh and eighth and another one on the 12th.
