London, June 22 (IANS) Hip hop singer Jay-Z defends his upcoming performance at Britain’s Glastonbury music festival saying all the fuss surrounding his performance is “ridiculous”. Contactmusic.com reports that Jay-Z’s upcoming performance has attracted criticism from the likes of Oasis singer Noel Gallagher who said Jay-Z was a “wrong choice”. But Jay-Z believes that people should learn to accept new things.
Jay-Z said: “It’s ridiculous, if we don’t embrace what is new, how do we progress? I’ve never actually experienced anything like that before. It is 2008, what is that about? That is such old school thinking, that is not even how the world thinks anymore. So I was really taken aback by the criticism.”
