Janet Jackson hospitalised after sudden illness
October 1st, 2008 - 12:11 am ICT by IANSLondon, Sep 30 (IANS) Pop star Janet Jackson has been hospitalised due to illness during her ongoing rock “Witchu” tour.Jackson fell “suddenly ill” Monday night landing her in the hospital having to cancel her appearance during the tour, reports Hollywood.com.
W&W Public Relations released a statement to the press stating the singer cancelled her concert in Montreal Monday after she “got suddenly ill” during her sound check and had to be rushed to the hospital just before show time.
The statement confirms Jackson is being monitored at the hospital and hopes to reschedule the show.
The star kicked off the tour in Canada earlier this month to promote hits from her 2006 album “20 Y.O” and latest collection “Discipline”, which released in February.
The tour is Janet’s first in seven years.
