Jade Goody’s widower to sell her clothes for charityMarch 27th, 2009 - 6:52 pm ICT by IANS
London, March 27 (IANS) Jade Goody’s widower Jack Tweed plans to auction off the late reality TV star’s clothes to raise money for cancer charities.
Tweed, who will clear out his wife’s house after her funeral April 4, will keep some of Goody’s prized possessions but has told family and friends that her clothes will either be given to Cancer Research charity shops or sold off to raise cash for Marie Curie nurses, reported thesun.co.uk
“Jack said he and Jade (Goody) talked about what to do with her stuff when she was gone. She told him to give it away to shops or sell it as long as the money went to a good cause,” said a source.
“Obviously he wants to help with cancer charities and is looking to hold some sort of auction. He is trying to look forward now. Clearing the house fills him with dread but he knows it is the first step toward closure,” added the source.
Goody succumbed to cervical cancer March 22.
