Jade Goody released from hospital
September 27th, 2008 - 1:04 am ICT by IANSLondon, Sep 26 (IANS) British reality show star Jade Goody has been released from hospital, days after it was revealed that her cervical cancer had spread.Goody had been recovering in London’s Royal Marsden Hospital after undergoing an eight-hour hysterectomy two weeks ago, reports dailymail.co.uk.
Her recovery odds currently fare around the 50 percent mark.
The former “Big Brother” star now faces a year of chemotherapy and radio-therapy treatments after the cancer was found to have spread around her abdominal organs.
Goody was diagnosed with cervical cancer last month as she appeared on “Bigg Boss”, the Indian version of the British reality show.
