Jacob Zuma’s second wife ‘had affair with bodyguard’
June 5th, 2010 - 11:57 am ICT by ANILondon, June 5 (ANI): Nompumelelo Ntuli Zuma, South African president Jacob Zuma’ second wife, had an affair with her bodyguard, it has been claimed.
Nompumelelo is reportedly pregnant with Zuma’s 21st child, but the fresh speculation has raised questions over the baby’s paternity, reports The Telegraph.
According to a letter from “concerned family members” of Zuma, one of his three current wives had cheated on him with Phinda Thomo, one of her bodyguards.
The letter was sent to the Zulu-language newspaper Ilanga.
Thomo is understood to have since committed suicide, although a South African police spokesman refused to comment on the claim.
“The reports appear to be part of an ongoing and malicious campaign to undermine the right of the President and his family to privacy and dignity,” said a statement from the Presidency. (ANI)
