Hamburg, July 14 (DPA) Ana Ivanovic of Serbia continues to head women’s tennis rankings issued Monday by the Women Tennis Association (WTA). The French Open champion, Ivanovic has 3,828 points followed by compatriot Jelena Jankovic on 3,685 and Russia’s Maria Sharapova on 3,626 points.

WTA top 10 as of July 14 (previous ranking in parenthesis):

1. (1) Ana Ivanovic, Serbia, 3,828; 2. (2) Jelena Jankovic, Serbia,3,685; 3. (3) Maria Sharapova, Russia, 3,626; 4. (4) Svetlana Kuznetsova, Russia, 3,455; 5. (5) Serena Williams, United States,3,126; 6. (6) Elena Dementieva, Russia, 3,105; 7. (7) Venus Williams, United States, 2,606; 8. (8) Anna Chakvetadze, Russia, 2,486; 9.
