Ivanka Trump’s ’stalker’ issued bench warrant after no-show at court hearing
February 5th, 2011 - 5:38 pm ICT by ANINew York, Feb 5 (ANI): Ivanka Trump’s accused stalker has been issued a bench warrant after he didn’t show up at a court hearing.
Justin Massler, who called the pregnant heiress “a princess” failed to show up for a second hearing in Manhattan Criminal Court.
“He has informed me again that he can’t afford to get here. He’s in Nevada,” the New York Daily News quoted George Vomvolakis, Massler’s lawyer, as telling the judge.
Massler is accused of terrorizing real-estate mogul Donald Trump’s married daughter over a two-year period, sending creepy emails and Twitter messages, including posting a picture of himself drenched in blood.
Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Lucrece Francois said her office is prepared to offer Massler, 28, a plea deal. But he has to admit to a misdemeanor charge, see a shrink and stay away from the Trump family for a year.
Massler, who lives in Reno, threatened to kill himself inside Trump’s high-end Madison Avenue jewelry store. (ANI)
