Its parmesan flan, hibiscus-flavoured champagne et al for Krishna in Washington
June 5th, 2010 - 11:57 am ICT by ANIWashington, June 5 (ANI): The reception hosted at the US State Department for visiting Indian External Affairs Minister S.M.Krishna and his delegation had a menu that was wide in variety, tickling both Western and Eastern taste buds.
According to a report in the web site foreignpolicy.com, the menu included savory parmesan flan, carrot and apricot fritters with vanilla-apricot chutney, Argentinean pulled chicken, petite lamb burgers, samosas, and sesame-encrusted salmon.
The range of cuisine was washed down with champagne flavored with hibiscus flowers. (ANI)
