Onboard Special Aircaft, July 8 (ANI): Pakistani Intelligence agencies are assisting terrorists by spoofing the signals of Tharaiya phones through its powerful transmitters authoritative sources in government of India told ANI.
Tharaiya phones are the kind of satellite phones, which are frequently being used by terrorist to communicate with their masters for executing attacks. According to sources “Attitude and longitude of these phones is traceable and time and again Indian security forces have intercepted and targeted the miscreants”. But to dodge the Indian security establishmentISI in collusion with terrorist is now using High power transmitters to spoof the signals of the tharaiya phones.
This is the latest evidence of the collusion between the ISI and terrorist working against India. Government sources also say that banned terrorist outfit Jamaat-ud-Dawa have resurfaced in Pakistan with a new name and new identity. Sources also believe that terror threat to India is far graver than in the recent past.
This latest evidence of nexus between Pakistan state apparatus and terrorists is bound to have implications on the Indo Pak talks which are slated to take place next week on the margins of NAM summit where foreign secretaries of both countries will meet which will be followed by meeting between Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Pakistani premier Yusuf Raza Gilani.
India is also dissatisfied with the steps Pakistan is taking to bring perpetrators of terror to justice. According to sources Pakistani authorities have informed India that they have detained 5 people who they believe are the main culprits and the key conspirators of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks Islamabad have also told New Delhi that they are on a look outand are hunting for 22 proclaimed terrorists. But Indian officials are unconvinced and they said “We are not interested in their Judicial process and the number game, Pakistan should take concrete action against anti-India terrorists”. (ANI)
