Iran to hold film festival on bread
August 14th, 2011 - 10:22 am ICT by IANSTehran, Aug 14 (IANS) Iran will soon organise for the first time a film festival on the theme of significance of bread in Iranian society, the Mehr news agency reported.
The film festival - titled “Festival of Blessings” - will be held in the capital city of Tehran.
The festival aims to speak about the production and consumption of bread, and the reverence paid to bread in Persian culture, through the medium of cinema, organisers said.
Fictional films, animation as well as documentaries will be part of the festival.
