Iran holds military drill
February 4th, 2012 - 8:10 pm ICT by IANSTehran, Feb 4 (IANS) Iran Saturday launched a military drill on its southern territorial waters.
The exercise dubbed Hamiane Velayat is conducted by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), the China Daily reported. It did not specify the location and duration of the drill.
IRGC ground forces commander Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour confirmed the launch of the exercise and said it is aimed at testing the armed forces’ battle readiness.
