iPad is a hot favorite of the Black Friday 2010 deals
November 22nd, 2010 - 8:42 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattNew York, Nov 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Consumers are reportedly eyeing the iPad in the upcoming Black Friday 2010. Several retailer shops are offering the gadget at competitive prices but it is the deal from TJ Maxx that is getting all the attention.
TJ Maxx which is a clothing store is offering the iPad for $399. That is right. The gadget is being offered at $100 less than the market price of the item. The deal beat that of Wal-Mart and Best Buy. Most people when they heard that selected stores in New York City and New Jersey were offering the deal, they doubted it. They however got serious when the company confirmed the deal in a Twitter post.
The post read, “The rumors are TRUE! Select (unadvertised) locations/limited quant”. The tweet on the popular social networking and micro blogging site Twitter, sent most consumers rushing to various TJ Maxx stores in those cities and within a short period, some of the shops were announcing that the Apple tablet is out of stock. What is more, no more is being offered again.
The buzz that surrounded the announcement is very good for the store. At least that is what Black Friday ads are all about.
