The Interior Minister, Pol. Capt. Chalerm Yubamrung, attended the poverty eradication meeting in the province of Khon Kaen today (July 10th).
During the meeting at Rajamangala Institute of Technology, Interior Minister Chalerm handed the poverty eradication policy to the Khon Kaen Governor, the Superintendent of Khon Kaen Provincial Police, heads of state agencies and village headmen. About 100 local villagers were carrying signs to voice their support for Pol. Capt. Chalerm around Rajamangala Institute of Technology this morning. Prior to the meeting, he greeted them and was in a good mood.
The Interior Minister also discussed the case concerning Preah Vihear Temple at the meeting. He said Act 275 of the 2007 Constitution states that ministers who have been filed for impeachment must stop working immediately. He said the charter is causing problems to the country because if the government is being filed for impeachment, no one could be appointed to replace the Cabinet members.
