Indonesian politician resigns after caught watching porn in parliament
April 12th, 2011 - 12:47 pm ICT by ANIJakarta, Apr 12 (ANI): An Indonesian politician has resigned after he was caught watching sexually explicit videos on his tablet computer in parliament.
Arifinto, 55, a member of the Prosperous Justice Party, was filmed on Friday, watching pornography for several minutes as fellow MPs debated plans to build a new parliament building.
The MP apologized to his constituents and said he was stepping down from Parliament immediately, the Telegraph reports.
“It’s my decision, nobody tried to coerce me,” said the father of five, insisting he had received no pressure from his staunchly Islamic party. (ANI)
