Islamabad, March 8 (IANS) India should reply soon on the 30 questions that Pakistan has forwarded relating to the Mumbai probe, Interior Advisor Rahman Malik said Sunday.
Addressing a joint press conference here with Interpol Chief Ronald Noble, Malik said that the most vital information Pakistan wanted was the DNA of the terrorists, including of Mohammad Ajmal Kasab, who attacked Mumbai in November last year, Geo TV reported.

The 26/11 attacks left 170 people, including 29 foreigners, dead and more than 300 injured.

He said only 13 days were left in the remand of those arrested in Pakistan for alleged involvement in the Mumbai attacks. He added that Pakistan has interrogated Zaki ur Rahman and other accused in the case.

Malik said that Pakistan has assured all cooperation to India in the probe and Islamabad would approach the Interpol for information relating to the terrorists.

Noble said Pakistan and its people were more hit by terrorism and the world community was with Pakistan in the war against terror.

The Interpol chief was all praise for Pakistan’s FIA (Federal Investigation Agency) in carrying out the Mumbai probe and termed its report as comprehensive and complete.

However, Noble said that Interpol didn’t receive any report from India.

He said India should take the lead in the probe in a bid to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Noble said the Mumbai attacks were partially planned in Pakistan. He said seven countries, including India, were used for the Mumbai attacks.

When asked about the terror attack Tuesday on the Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore, Noble said it has some similarity with the Mumbai attacks, but nothing could be said until the final report is ready. He said he hasn’t discussed the matter with the officials here.
