Islamabad, June 8 (IANS) India and Pakistan are making efforts to ease visa procedures on both sides, and a second round of talks between the home ministers of both sides will be held in August, Indian High Commissioner Sharat Sabharwal has said.

India and Pakistan were trying to bring about procedural changes to ease the visa regime, Sabharwal said during his address Tuesday to the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI).

“It is essential to promote bilateral trade to bridge the trust deficit between the two countries,” Geo News quoted the Indian envoy as saying.

On the occasion, FPCCI President Haji Ghulam Ali said it is also vital to boost exchange of trade delegations between the two neighbouring countries.
