India, Brazil vow to fight terrorism in all forms

Brasilia (Brazil), Apr.16 (ANI): Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and visiting Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on Wednesday strongly condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.A joint statement issued by both sides after a bilateral meeting between the two leaders said that they were both committed by “whoever, wherever and for whatever purpose and stressed that there can be no justification, whatsoever, for any acts of terrorism.” “They agreed to support the global struggle against terrorism in conformity with the principles of the U.N. Charter, relevant international conventions and International Law,” the joint statement said.”Both sides reiterated their commitment to continue efforts for an early adoption of the Comprehensive Convention on international terrorism,” the statement added.
