Imran predicts positive change in Pak in next year’s possible mid-term polls

Islamabad, Sept 22 (ANI): Former cricketer and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that the country can expect a far-reaching and positive change if people choose the right representatives in possible mid-term polls next year.
“At present, PTI would neither become part of any kind interim set-up nor go to the power corridors by riding somebody’s shoulders,” The Daily Times quoted Khan, as saying.
While addressing the business community during his visit to Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), he said that former President Pervez Musharraf would not participate in politics in the presence of an independent judiciary.
Earlier, PTI Central Information Secretary, Omar Sarfraz Cheema, had described Musharraf as “a habitual liar” with “a nerve for selling ridiculous fiction as facts”.
Cheema had also brushed aside Musharraf’s criticism against PTI Chairman Imran Khan as “a pack of lies’ and ‘a figment of his warped imagination”.
He had not only described Khan as “the most credible, supremely patriotic, unbendingly honest and upright political leader of Pakistan, but had also went on to remind Musharaf of his own statement of August 2004, in which the former President had revealed Khan as his preferred prime ministerial candidate.
