IMM to start Afro-Asian Development Centre
May 11th, 2010 - 7:23 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 11 (IANS) The Institute of Marketing and Management is planning to start an Afro-Asian Development Centre at its premises here next year.
The Centre, to be headed by a senior faculty member, will hold seminars, workshops, conferences based on research and analyses to point out the opportunities for mutual benefit among countries of Asia and Africa, said the private institute in a press release.
The centre is likely to be launched next February when the institute will hold the 38th World Marketing Congress, focussing on East Africa.
India has been eyeing the region for its potential in mining, energy and agriculture.
