Huge cache of drugs seized in Kathmandu
July 5th, 2010 - 6:01 am ICT by IANSKathmandu, July 5 (IANS) A huge consignment of hashish - 105 kg - hidden in sacks of potatoes and meant to be sent to China was seized here in the Nepal capital by the Narcotic Drugs Control Law Enforcement Unit.
The hashish was found wrapped in packaging tape and hidden inside five sacks of potatoes kept on the roof of a bus. Two drug traffickers were also arrested, who confessed that the contraband was to be smuggled to China, Xinhua reported citing police officials.
