Paris Hilton London, Feb 27 (IANS) An advertisement featuring socialite Paris Hilton has sparked controversy in Brazil and a government official for women’s affairs has called for removing the commercial due to its sexist undertones.
In the advertisement, Hilton is seen sexually rubbing a can of beer on herself in an office building as passers-by stare at her antics, reports dailystar.co.uk.

Despite being fully clothed throughout the ad, officials at Brazil’s Women’s Secretariat revealed that the authorities have received several complaints about the “sensual nature” of the campaign.

“It’s an ad that devalues women - in particular, blonde women,” said a representative.

“The problem with the ad isn’t lack of clothing, but its sensual nature. A woman in a bikini on a beach isn’t necessarily sensual, it depends on the context,” he added.
