Hillary Clinton to visit Egypt, Tunisia
March 11th, 2011 - 11:09 am ICT by IANSWashington, March 11 (IANS) US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will visit France, Egypt and Tunisia from March 14 to 17, the US State Department has said.
Clinton will participate in the G-8 meetings in Paris March 14-15 and meet her counterparts, said State Department spokesman Philip Crowley in a statement Thursday, according to Xinhua.
While in Egypt and Tunisia, where unrest has unseated the two countries’ leaders, Clinton will hold discussions with government officials and members of civil society on the recent events and the “full range of regional and bilateral issues”, the statement said.
