Gunmen kidnap seven tourists in Mexico

Mexico City, May 18 (Xinhua) Seven Mexican tourists have been kidnapped by some gunmen on a highway in southern Mexico, the police have said. According to the police, the kidnapping was occurred Saturday on a highway leading to the Pacific coast resort town of Acapulco.
While the gunmen kidnapped seven of the eight tourists on gun point, one tourist managed to escape and informed the police.
The police rushed to the place of kidnapping and found blood stains and 37 bullet holes in the car, which was used by the tourists.
So far, no individuals or groups have claimed responsibility for the abduction.
