Abu Dhabi, April 7 (IANS/WAM) Government officials in Abu Dhabi are being taught the art of communicating and how to manage interactions with the media.
Officials from different government departments will attend a workshop on public speaking and media management Wednesday, which aims to provide them with “tools, hands-on experience, and personalised expert feedback on public speaking and how to manage organised interactions with the media”.

The two-day course is part of a national-level programme to identify and develop future leaders of the government.

“The Government of Abu Dhabi spares no effort to continuously develop national human resources through implementation of world-class training programmes that cover diverse areas of expertise,” a government official, Ali Rashed Al Ketbi, said.

“The programme is part of a national vision to develop and prepare leaders for the future. We are confident that this workshop will sharpen communication skills and enhance effective interaction with the media,” he said.
