‘Green’ bride walks down the aisle in bubble-wrap dress!
May 18th, 2010 - 3:02 pm ICT by ANILondon, May 18 (ANI): Going green took on a new meaning altogether when a bride decided to wear a wedding dress made of bubble wrap.
Rachael Robinson was a proud bride as she walked down the aisle in a wedding dress made of bubble wrap.
The gown was made from recycled materials including 13ft of bubble wrap when she married Duncan Turner, 32, at Stamford Register Office, Lincolnshire.
“There was quite a lot of popping as I walked up the aisle. I was nervous but having the bubbles to pop at hand really helped,” Times Online quoted Rachael as saying.
Rachael, 30, a primary school teacher, of the nearby village of Toft, had the dress made for her by parents of pupils for a recyclable materials fashion show. (ANI)
