GOP Congresswoman Bachmann set to launch White House bid
March 25th, 2011 - 5:57 pm ICT by ANIWashington, Mar 25 (ANI): Republican congresswoman Michele Bachmann is set to launch a run for the White House within weeks, advisers have said.
The Telegraph quoted Ed Brookover, an adviser to the Minnesota congresswoman, as saying that she had been considering launching her campaign in June, but might bring the date forward to take part in the first Republican debate in early May.
Bachmann, who was elected to Congress in 2006, had stirred a controversy by commenting that Obama was having “anti-American” associates. (ANI)
