Global kite contest in China
May 29th, 2011 - 8:46 pm ICT by IANSBeijing, May 29 (IANS) More than 100 kite enthusiasts from over 20 countries are taking part in a kite festival in a central China city.
Participants from the US, Germany, France, Holland, Hungary, Austria, Switzerland, South Korea and Vietnam have gathered in Yinchuan in Ningxia province.
There will be three categories in the tournament — kite flying, kite fighting and kite ballet, Xinhua reported.
