German arrested in Islamabad
January 27th, 2012 - 6:15 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Islamabad, Jan 27 (IANS) A German national was arrested Friday in the Pakistani capital for illegally staying in the country.
Police carried out a raid Friday morning at the house where the German was living and arrested him, Xinhua reported citing Urdu TV channel Dunya.
This was the fourth German arrested in Pakistan over the past one week, police said.
Last Saturday, three Germans were arrested from the northwestern city of Peshawar for illegal stay and indulging in suspicious activities.
They were later handed over to the German embassy in Islamabad after a brief interrogation.
