George Michael flees from London in shame
September 24th, 2008 - 2:22 am ICT by IANSLondon, Sep 24 (IANS) Pop star George Michael has fled form Britain following his arrest for possessing crack cocaine and marijuana in underground lavatories on Hampstead Heath, North London - a meeting place for gay men.Micahel who had been in hiding since the arrest, left his 5 million pound London mansion with partner Kenny Goss and six large suitcases Monday night, reports dailymail.co.uk.
“They looked like they were going away for some time with the amount of luggage they had. They checked all the locks and made sure the lights were switched off too, all the things you do before you go abroad,” said an onlooker.
However, Michael’s publicist pleaded ignorance about the singer’s destination and said: “We don’t know where he’s going.”
