London, Dec 2 (IANS) The Oasis lead singer Liam Gallagher slammed British rock band Coldplay saying he doesn’t “give a s**t” about them.Contactmusic.com reports that though Coldplay have become immensely popular recently, Oasis on the other hand have seen their fame dwindle. But Gallagher still believes his group is better and also expressed surprise that Oasis is not more popular.

Speaking to a magazine he said, “I don’t give a s**t about Coldplay. We are the coolest band and we are the best f**king band. We are the most important band. We may not be the biggest band in America but who would want that? We aren’t as big as we could be in America because of our attitudes. We’re miserable. The main reason is they obviously don’t like us. But a lot of people over there do like us. We sold out Madison Square Garden in a minute and we tour there for a long time. But they don’t buy our records. America is a country in a f**king very big world, so if they don’t like us, somewhere else will.”
