Gallagher doesn’t want to move to US
March 16th, 2009 - 1:08 pm ICT by IANSLondon, March 16 (IANS) Singer Noel Gallagher of the band Oasis doesn’t want to move to the US as he is scared his children will acquire the accent.
Contactmusic.com reports that Gallagher at times considers moving to Los Angeles with his partner Sara McDonald and 18-month-old son Donovan and daughter Anais from a previous marriage. But he doesn’t want them to sound American.
He said: “I’m not sure I could ever actually live out there, I don’t think it’d be fair on the kids. I’m not gonna have a child with an American accent, calling me ‘pop’.”
