Vienna, Dec 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Austrian authorities are considering pulling down one of the country’s greatest shame.

The house where Josef Fritzl kept his daughter locked up and forcibly fathered seven children with her may not be standing for a long time. The court appointed liquidator made the request to the local authorities that structure should not be left standing. He revealed this to the Associated Press in an email that he sent to the media outlet on Wednesday.

Fritzl could be described as Australia’s man-without-shame. He denied his own daughter 24 years of her freedom and over the period brought seven children to the world with her. The circumstances surrounding the story were as mysterious as it was bizarre. The reason why nobody got to know about this for 24 years leave many questions still unanswered.

The daughter was eventually found in April 2008 and after the police rescued her and her children (who are also technically her siblings) Fritzl was arrested and charged. After the court proceedings, Fritzl was found guilty and the court sentenced him to life in prison.

The liquidator, Walter Anzboeck did not provide further detail on why he wants the building to be demolished.
