London, March 19 (IANS) Rock band Coldplay got the title for their new album from a famous painting by Mexican artist Frida Kahlo and says it is a tribute to her. The lead singer Chris Martin revealed the new release will be called “Vida La Vida”, which was made by Kahlo. She endured polio and lived in severe pain caused by a broken spine for decades, reports.

Martin said: “She went through a lot of s**t and then she started a big painting in her house that said Viva la Vida (Long Live Life). I just loved the boldness of it. Everyone thinks it comes from Ricky Martin (Livin’ La Vida Loca), which is fine. I have absolute respect.”
